Message from the Chairs

We invite you to join us for the 4th World Congress for Endoscopic Surgery of the Brain, Skull Base, and Spine to be held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in the Spring of 2010.

Hosted by the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, this congress builds on the success of prior meetings and is a forum for the exchange of the latest scientific information related to endoscopic surgery of the brain, skull base, and spine.

  • The 4th World Congress will present the latest advances in surgical techniques, new technologies, and anatomical knowledge.


  • Internationally recognized experts will discuss their clinical experience and provide data regarding complications and outcomes.


  • Panel discussions will highlight controversies and areas of consensus.


  • Breakfast and lunch seminars will provide an opportunity to learn from the experts.

  • Video sessions will demonstrate surgical techniques.

  • Exhibits from medical and surgical device companies will showcase the newest advances in products and services.

Pittsburgh   The 1st World Congress for Endoscopic Surgery of the Brain, Skull Base, and Spine was held in Pittsburgh in 2005 and was an overwhelming success with over 350 attendees from 42 countries.

The 2nd World Congress was in Paris, France in 2007 in conjunction with the 4th World Congress of the International Study Group of Neuroendoscopy.   2nd World Congress
 
3rd World Congress and Rhinology 2008   The 3rd World Congress was in Sao Paolo, Brazil in 2008 in conjunction with Rhinology 2008.

 
Each congress has witnessed tremendous growth in the application of endoscopic techniques for surgery of the brain, skull base, and spine and reflects widespread acceptance of these techniques.
